VEHICLE INSPECTIONS
We are an AIS certified workshop, with 2 licensed vehicle inspectors on site.
We are able to perform inspections on cars, trailers, caravans and motorhomes up to 4.5 tonne. This covers interstate registration transfers, vehicle defect clearances and general road worthy inspections for lapsed registration.
We can also perform pre purchase inspections if you are wanting peace of mind when buying a new vehicle.

COOLING SYSTEMS
If your car is running hotter than usual, we can perform an inspection of your cooling system and run pressure testing if needed.
We can repair or replace your water pump, radiator, welch plugs, thermos fans, heater core, hoses and taps, as well as a complete flush of your cooling system.

We can supply, fit and balance a large range of quality tyre brands – Let us know what you are after, and we will do our best to source them. We have access to a good range of quality tyres at very reasonable prices.
We use modern equipment to perform wheel alignments and can balance tyres up to a 37 inch diameter.

WAYNE PURTON
Director
Wayne began his mechanical career back in 1985 at Dial Motors as an apprentice specialising in carburetors and tuning.
Wayne has also worked at Renison Mine and as a mechanical contractor for Cement Australia before he opened Wayne Purton Automotive in 2010 around the corner from our current workshop.
Wayne is passionate about older vehicles and maintaining and rebuilding them as genuinely as possible to maintain the authenticity of these treasures, working with our customers to make their car dreams become a reality.
JAYDEN VOS
Mechanic & Authorised Vehicle Examiner
Jayden began working at Coastline Exhausts & Service Centre Ulverstone in 2011 - 2014 as a Trade Assistant. In 2014 he commenced his apprenticeship at TAFE completing Cert 3 as a Light Vehicle Mechanic. He concluded his apprenticeship in October 2018. Jayden began working at Wayne Purton Automotive in May 2019.
